    Nicholas Albery, the founder and chairman of the Institute for Social Inventions, and the man behind the Global Ideas Bank, died in a car accident on June 3rd 2001. He will be greatly missed, and his enthusiasm, dedication and unfailing commitment to new ideas will continue to inspire.
